Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about Service 01: Data Readiness Assessment (DRA).
General Overview
1. What is a Data Readiness Assessment (DRA)?
A Data Readiness Assessment is an independent, rule-based technical audit of tabular business datasets. Service 01 verifies that your data is structurally sound, conformant to schema rules, and meets domain-specific quality constraints before you deploy it to operational workflows, reporting systems, or data pipelines.
2. What business domains are supported?
Service 01 supports eleven dedicated domain units:
collections_recovery: Collections & Debt Recovery Recordsdistribution: Logistics & Regional Distributionecommerce: E-Commerce Orders & Transactionsinsurance_claim_risk: Underwriting & Policy Claimslending_credit: Loan Origination & Credit Assessmentmanufacturing: Industrial Production & Quality Recordspayments_merchant_risk: Merchant Settlement & Disputespharmaceutical: Drug Formulation & Batch Testingportfolio: Asset Holdings & Valuationssaas_retention: Subscription Renewals & Usagewealth_aum_risk: Portfolio Balances & Flows
Each unit executes a tailored validation suite aligned with that domain’s operational realities.
Methodology & Reports
3. What does the DQI score mean?
DQI stands for Data Quality Intelligence. It measures the objective structural conformance of your dataset against established schema specifications, null thresholds, range rules, and domain constraints. A high DQI score indicates clean, complete, and structurally sound records with minimal defects.
4. What is the difference between DQI and DRI?
- Data Quality Intelligence (DQI): Focuses on detection and diagnostic profiling. It audits columns, measures missingness, and catalogs every structural defect.
- Data Remediation Intelligence (DRI): Focuses on corrective engineering action. It classifies defect severity, identifies probable root causes, and provides step-by-step technical instructions for repairing the data.
5. What happens if my dataset receives a FAIL or CONDITIONAL verdict?
Every assessment delivers the full three-document package regardless of the verdict. If your dataset receives a CONDITIONAL or FAIL verdict, the Data Remediation Intelligence (DRI) Report highlights the exact columns, rows, and rules that failed, along with concrete technical guidance on how to fix them. Once your engineering team resolves the structural defects, the corrected dataset can be submitted for re-certification.
Pricing & Capacity Accounting
6. How do processing tokens and data cells work?
Service 01 measures capacity directly in processed data cells.
$$\text{Data Cells} = \text{Rows} \times \text{Columns}$$
- Every processed data cell corresponds to 4 tokens (25,000 data cells = 100,000 tokens for the Starter tier).
- For example, assessing a dataset containing 1,000 rows and 25 columns consumes exactly 25,000 data cells (100,000 tokens).
- The Starter Plan ($200/month) includes 25,000 data cells of capacity per month.
- Submissions are evaluated against available monthly capacity before processing. If a dataset requires more data cells than your active tier allows, our team will coordinate a capacity extension or tier adjustment.
7. Do unused monthly data cells roll over?
No. Monthly capacity allotments reset at the start of each billing cycle to maintain predictable operational capacity. Unused allowances do not carry over to subsequent months.
8. Is there a setup or registration fee?
No. Service 01 requires no registration fee, account opening charge, or hidden setup cost. You only pay the flat monthly subscription for your capacity tier.
9. Do you offer a free trial or free demo tokens?
No. To maintain complete third-party objectivity, certified rigor, and dedicated analyst review, RSX does not offer unverified free trials or demo tokens. You can inspect complete, unredacted sample reports on our Evidence page.
Data Handling & Security
10. How is my data submitted and handled?
The public website does not receive, store, or process client datasets. Dataset submission takes place through direct, secure channels established during manual client onboarding. Your datasets are processed strictly within isolated execution environments and are never used to train machine learning models or shared with third parties.
11. What security certifications does RSX hold?
RSX takes data integrity and confidentiality seriously, using encrypted transport and isolated execution. However, RSX does not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent third-party security certifications at this time. We believe in complete transparency regarding our current compliance posture.
12. Who has access to my submitted data?
Only authorized RSX operational personnel assigned to your account engagement have access to raw input datasets during verification and packaging. All engagements are governed by standard non-disclosure and commercial confidentiality agreements.
Operations & Delivery
13. What file formats do you accept?
We accept tabular datasets in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) and XLSX (Microsoft Excel OpenXML) formats.
14. How long does an assessment take?
Assessments are processed as batch verification jobs after secure dataset submission. Turnaround time is discussed during the onboarding conversation.
15. Can reports be branded with our company identity?
Yes. Every report in your assessment package can incorporate your organization’s brand name, corporate logo, custom confidentiality markings (e.g., “Strictly Confidential - Internal Only”), and a selected registered color theme.
16. What language are deliverables generated in?
All report deliverables, executive verdicts, and remediation documentation are generated exclusively in English (en).
17. Is there an automated API for real-time submission?
No. Service 01 operates as an independent certification and quality audit engagement conducted through secure, managed client channels. There is no public self-service API or automated submission endpoint in v1.
